The Wainwright Associates team of 21 consultants is highly qualified with a combined total of over 400 man-years of industrial experience.

All our consultants have an R & D background and can offer both scientific and regulatory advice. The scientific expertise available includes most of the disciplines relevant to regulatory affairs, such as chemistry, pharmacy, microbiology, pharmacology, toxicology, medicine, clinical research and statistics.

We also have a network of local advisors located in 50 countries worldwide who are available where local knowledge is required.

Chris Wainwright BPharm PhD CChem FRSC MRPharmS FTOPRA

Dr Chris Wainwright has over 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, first as an analytical chemist and then in regulatory affairs, joining the contract research business in 1982.

The combination of a pharmacy qualification, a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry and substantial regulatory expertise stand him in good stead as a chemistry and pharmacy expert, meeting the European Union requirements for CTD Overviews

Penelope Wainwright

Penelope Wainwright started her career in the civil service but after having a family decided to change career path. In 1985 she joined the Finance Department of a Clinical Research Organisation where she became Company Secretary and Financial Controller. Her responsibilities within Wainwright Associates are many and varied however as she would say “I have nothing to do with the science. I leave that to the many experts in the team.”
